Day 1 : Arrival to Marrakech

Pick up transfer to your riad in the medina of Marrakech. Dinner and overnight in the riad.

Day 2 : Exploring Marrakech – Half-day guided tour

A walking tour that leads you to the Koutoubia Mosque, the most prominent minaret in Marrakech. Then around the old city with a visit of the famous colorful souks. Continue your tour with a visit of 12th century Almohad Palace, with its famous carved gate, Bab Agnaou and the Bahia Palace built upon 2 acres of exotic gardens in the center of the Jewish quarter. Visit the oldest street of the old medina and the famous Jamaa El fna Square !

Free afternoon, possible visit of the Majorelle blue Gardens and the picturesque Menara Gardens in the new town of Marrakech. Great way to discover the city of Marrakech.

Day 3 : Marrakech-Aït Benhaddou (180km)

Start of the trip through the High Atlas mountains and Tichka pass, on one of the most beautiful roads of Morocco. Ounila valley, where you can go for 1h walk along the river and in the middle of the valley and Berber villages. Then on your car along beautiful landscapes until Ait Benhadou ksar (Unesco listed heritage and wonderful old ksar, well-known for the numerous movies shot in and around ). Diner and overnight in an old charming Kasbah.

Day 4 : Aït Benhaddou-Merzouga sand dunes (300km)

Departure in the morning heading towards the palm grove of Skoura, and then the valleys of M’goun and Dades mostly known as the roses’ valley and their main place Kalâa M’ gouna, and Boumalen Dades then to discover the charming Dades valley and its colourful Gorges till Boumalen Dades .in the afternoon, you’ll continue towards the vertiginous cliffs and gorges of Todgha. possibility of making a stroll in its palm grove so as to appreciate the daily life of berber farmers dealing with their small plots of land.

Back from your walk, you’ll head towards Merzouga’s Erg Chebbi dunes. Once there you’ll be received by a welcoming Moroccan mint tea, settle your luggage in your tents and go for a camel ride for over the sand dunes to see an unforgettable sahara sunset . Dinner and overnight under tents in a luxury camp.

Day 5 : Merzouga- Midelt-Fes (400 km)

Departure from Erg Chebbi to start heading towards Midelt and the Middle Atlas Mountains. The day will be a long drive to the northern Morocco. The wilderness you cross can vary from rocky, sun baked plains, to palm groves to cedar forests, and from clad mountains to deep canyons. Once in the hills of Azrou – Middle Atlas mountains- you may spot a troop of Barbary apes. Then you slowly descend into the hectic and amazing Fes. Dinner and overnight in a riad in the medina.

Day 6 : Fes guided city tour – A full day guided tour.

Fes: the medieval city of science, crafts and architecture: A complete guided visit of one of the most authentic Moroccan and Arab medinas in the world :
Your guide comes to fetch you from your riad around 9am. He will take you to explore this amazing well preserved city : Souks, such as Nejjarine, squares such as Seffarine, or mosques like karawiyine. Attarine or Abou Inania, old coranique Medersas. Artisans such as dyers, tanners or potters… A real step back in time!

Day 7 : Fes-Volubis-Meknes-Rabat (250km)

A full day excursion to see Meknes the morocco capital and imperial city in the 17th century during the reign of king moulay Ismail. You’ll visit the Royal stables and Granaries, Bab Mansour gate and Moulay Ismail mosque and mausoleum. At a stone throw from Meknes are located the ruins of Volubis, the romain city and capital of ancient Mauritania Tingitana. Dinner and Overnight in a riad in the medina of Rabat .

Day 8 : Rabat- Essaouira (450km)

After breakfast , depart around 8:30 am to discover morocco’s capital and fourth imperial city: visit the Mausoleum of the king Mohamed V, the XII century Hassan Tower, the charming Kasbah of Oudayas and its Andalusian Gardens and Moorish cafe.

Then you’ll head to Essaouira in a a road along the atlantic ocean. Dinner and overnight in a riad in the old medina.

Day 9 : Essaouira-Marrakech : Half-day guided tour (160km)

Morning Visit the UNESCO protected old medina of Essaouria. The walled city is an enchanting old fishing harbor . The enormous fortress of white washed, blue-shuttered houses is famous for its fine handcrafts. The city , built at sea level, flourishes in marquetry, the art of working wood with ebony, mother-of-pearl, and silver threads.

    North Morocco tour

    Day 1 : Tangier to Chefchaouen (120km)

    Your english-speaking driver will meet you at the airport or port in Tangier. To start your adventure, we will drive to Chefchaouen to explore one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco and a stunning village at the foot of the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen’s medina has a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores, roof-top restaurants, and cafes. Dinner and overnight in a riad in the middle of this wonderful city.

    Day 2 : Chefchaouen – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes (250km)

    After an early breakfast, you will set out for the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, where you will explore the 2000-year-old ruins. After lunch in Moulay Idriss, one of the holiest villages in Morocco, your driver will take you to discover the wonders of Meknes, a city famous for its 16 miles of protective wall. Behind the city imposing walls, you can stop at the Bab Mansour gate, visit the Moulay Ismail Mosque, the former royal stables and granaries. Dinner and overnight in a riad in the middle of Fes old city.

    Day 3 : Fes guided tour

    Today will be spent exploring Fes, the oldest Imperial City, founded in 790 A.D. you will visit the medieval medina, the Karaouiyne Mosque, whose central aisle is embellished with elaborate floral and Kufic script carved into the plaster, and the colorfully tiled Nejjarine Fountain. Don’t miss the fascinating Islamic universities, including the Abou Anania or the Attarine Mederssa. Dinner and overnight at your riad in Fes.

    Day 4 : Fes – Atlas mountains – Marrakech (480km)

    After breakfast we’ll take you to Marrakech through the Atlas Mountains where you will be able to appreciate beautiful landscapes while we make our way to the city of magic lamps and flying carpets. In Marrakech, you can visit some wonderful tourist spots such as the amazing atmosphere of the Jemaa el Fna square at night. The carnival show in the large square occurs every night UNESCO-protected tradition. Every day is different, but includes snake charmers, acrobats, storytellers, musicians, herb doctors, food vendors, and henna artists. Dinner and overnight in a riad in the middle of the medina.

    Day 5 : Marrakech guided tour

    Today you will have a complete private tour of Marrakech. The souk is like a movie set, with exotic streets full of an amazing range of colors, sights, smells, and sounds, where artisans gather in separate streets, such as the silver and copper street, shoes street, and metalworking street. You will also have a private tour of the Palais Bahia that was built as a replica of the Alhambra Palace in Granada. If time allows, you can also visit the Majorelle Gardens, an enchanting site in the heart of the city. Dinner and overnight in a riad in the middle of this magic city.

      Morocco’s imperial cities : the land of traditions

      Day 1 : Marrakesh

      According to your flight schedule, Pick up from the Marrakech Menara International Airport. Dinner and overnight in a traditional riad in the medina of Marrakech.

      Day 2 : Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat (290km)

      Pick up from your riad and depart to Rabat via Casablanca. In Casablanca – the economic capital of the country – visit the United Nations building, Avenue Mohammed V, the ANFA District and the gorgeous mosque of Hassan II. After lunch, continue to Rabat. In the capital of Morocco visit the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the Hassan Tower, and the Oudaya’s Andalusian Gardens. Dinner and overnight in a riad in the medina of Rabat.

      Day 3 : Rabat – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez (200km)

      Depart Rabat for the Roman ruins of Volubilis, the baths of Gallium, the Forum, and the ancient capital. Continue on to Meknes and enter through the large monumental gate “Bab Mansour” to visit Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. The mausoleum is one of the most impressive buildings in the city. Visit also of the former royal stables and granaries. End the day in the oldest and most authentic imperial city in Morocco, Fez. . Dinner and overnight in a riad in the medina of Fes.

      Day 4 : Fez

      Visit the authentic city of Fez, where the old medina offers a step back in time. A well preserved medieval city of donkey-wide alley ways and souks, the medina is encircled by an unbroken line of ramparts and gates. Visit of the Mederssa Attarine, Nejjarine fountain, and the mosques of El Karaouyine, Medersa Bou Inania, and Baba Jloud, Tanneries section , dyers street and pottery workshops. Dinner and overnight in a riad in the medina of Fes.

      Day 5 : Fez – Beni Mellal – Marrakech (440km)

      We leave for Marrakech via Beni Mellal – a market town that marks the border between the High and Middle Atlas Mountains. Enjoy the Scenic mountain landscape and view the waterfalls of Ouzoud – the three-tiered waterfalls with a drop of over 110 meters to the river below. Conclude with a stroll in the forest around the falls to admire the barbarian apes and other bird species. Dinner and overnight in a riad in the medina of Marrakech.

      Day 6 : Marrakech guided walking tour

      After breakfast, we explore Marrakech’s historical sites: Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs, the jewish quarter and the Bahia Palace. The medina’s souks and markets, and the famous Djemaa el Fna Square. The square – the size of a football field -is as it was 500 years ago: storytellers, vendors of Magic potions, dancers, snake charmers, and acrobats. .         Ouzoud Watterfalls

        Ouzoud Waterfalls (1 day)

        Ouzoud pictures and images are featured in almost every Moroccan tourist brochure and paper guide. The waterfalls are less than3 hour car ride away from Marrakech and are found in the middle of the high central Atlas Mountain range. Falling from a height in excess of 100 meters, the falls plunge into an endless series of pools.

        The gorge of the Ouzoud Waterfalls is home to families of local apes and a variety of native bird species ! this lovely atmosphere invites you for one or two hours stroll to admire its beauty and its quietness. So a visit to beautiful Ouzoud comes as a refreshing surprise.

A day trip to Essaouria – one of the most charming medinas in all of Morocco – will give you ample time to visit the important monuments and the most interesting spots, the old fish markets,the scalla and the harbor. You’ll also have a chance to watch silver craftsmen and wood carvers at work.

            Atlas valleys and Agafay desert

            High Atlas Mountains

            Pick up around 9pm.

            You’ll head to the High Atlas Mountains. Asni valley and surrounding Berber villages delightful spots to get away from hot and exotic attraction of Marrakech to this cold and rugged Berber country home. A cluster of villages around the river valley Moulay Ibrahim set in a dramatic setting of the High Atlas Mountains with great views of the highest mountain of Morocco and North Africa Djebel Toubkal.

            A welcoming atmosphere of tiny villages, steep hillsides, waterfalls, and lush green gardens. Stop at one of the Berber homes for a glass of mint tea or even a family traditional lunch. If you like, you can take a short trek about 30minutes to the waterfalls in the village of Imlil Valley, home to the Toubkal National Park. Then back to Marrakech via Agafay. This rocky desert, drawn by the wadies offers an unexpected and splendid views. A mineral universe that can be disturbed only by passing few flocks of sheep.

                Half-day Marrakech guided tour

                Marrakech (4 hours walk)

                Meet me, your private guide, around 9am or 2pm  in your riad or in the Koutoubia square, the most prominent minaret in Marrakech.

                We start our walking tour heading to the Kasbah and its famous carved gate, the famous Bab Agnaou. There, we visit the Saadian Tombs, not long time discovered, a 16th century Mausoleum built as a resting place for the tombs of thirteen Saadian sultans.

                We’ll Continue our walking tour with a visit of  the Bahia Palace a  masterpiece of the Moroccan architecture, built upon 2 acres of exotic gardens. Then we delve into the mellah, center of the Jewish heritage, a pure feast for the senses:  endless stores of different aromas, spices and medicinal plants. Then to the oldest streets of the colorful souks to see the skill of our artisans at work.

                  4 days Sahara road trip

                  Day 1 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou (180 km / 4 hours)

                  Morning pick up from your hotel to start our trip. We set our travel towards Ait Ben Haddou via the High Atlas Mountains, the tallest mountains of Morocco, home to the second highest mountain of Africa. The drive across the mountains is full of amazing scenery at every turn. The highest point of the Tizi Tichka is 2260m and the views over the region overwhelming. After reaching the peak we start descending towards the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the best preserved and most visited Kasbah of Morocco. Upon arrival you will understand why. This Ksar – traditional stronghold-was once full of busy life and offered shelter on the caravan routes. Spend the night in the tranquility and beauty not far from the site. Dinner and overnight in a Ksar or kasbah.

                  Day 2 : Ait Ben Haddou – Nekob – Merzouga (250 km / 5 hours)

                  Today we will continue the journey of Morocco to Agdez . The road will take us through high peaks of barren mountains of the Anti-Atlas Then we descend into the Draa Valley lined by millions of palms. We follow the Valley and views of palm trees to Nekob . The scenery will then change as we start approaching the Saghro Mountains – a seemingly bare and barren volcanic landscape that actually boasts a great variety of plants and animals which survive through in a harsh and hostile environment. Yet, the scenery will change again as we approach Merzouga and the desert landscape will take over. We might get excited seeing the first sand dunes from the road. Here we arrive in the camp, where guide and camels take us for a camel trek across the desert to admire the views of the sun set, coloring the sand from yellow, orange to red and brown. Dinner and night in the camp.

                  Day 3 : Merzouga – Todra gorges – Skoura (220 km / 5 hours)

                  Waking up before the sun rise gives you the chance to see the sun lighting the sand dunes . After breakfast, we head to Tinerhir, where we visit Todra Gorge. Considered one of the most dramatic sights one can come across in the whole Morocco. The gorge was carved out by the Todra river forming cliff-sided canyons on its final 40 km through the mountains. The final 600m of the gorge are stunning as the canyon narrows to a flat stony track as little as 10m wide in places with sheer and smooth rock walls. The drive today will take us to the Rose Valley, Kella Mgouna know for this growth of roses, and passing in April, May the whole valley smells of roses. Road of Thousand Kasbahs will take us to the oasis of Skoura. Dinner and overnight in a Kasbah in the heart of the palm groves.

                  Day 4 : Skoura – Marrakech (240 km / 5 hours)

                  After breakfast, free time to go for a walk in the oasis , known for its old clay Kasbahs and beautiful paths in the middle of the olive trees gardens. Then cross the High Atlas back to Marrakech. Not to travel all the way the same route, we will be taking the main route along villages such as Agouim and Ighrem. Then we meet the Tizi n’Tichka that will take us to Marrakech. Expected arrival around 5pm, drop off at your hotel or riad .

                    Day 1 : Marrakesh –Ouarzazate (200 km)

                    After breakfast, beginning of the trip, with a 4WD vehicle , going through the High Atlas mountains on one of the most beautiful roads of Morocco. Ounila valley, Telouet Kasbah and endless Berber villages.

                    Day 2 : Ouarzazate-Dades valley (130 km)

                    After breakfast, departure around 9h in the morning heading towards the palm grove of Skoura ( 40 km) after breakfast, and then for the discovery of the valley of M’goun mostly known as the rose valley and its main place Kalâa M’ gouna, then to discover the charming Dades valley and its colourful Gorges till Boumalen Dades . Dinner and overnight in your Kasbah-hotel.

                    Day 3 : Dadès-Merzouga (230 km)

                    After breakfast, we’ll head towards Erfoud to arrive, after 55 km of road, in the valley of Todgha, possibility of making a stroll in its palm grove so as to appreciate the daily life of berber farmers dealing with their small plots of land.Then we’ll continue towards the vertiginous cliffs and gorges of Todgha before leaving the valley towards Merzouga.

                    Once there you leave the vehicle to go on camel ride for around 1 hour in the sand dunes to admire the sunset.

                    Dinner and night in the camp under tents.

                    Day 4 : Merzouga sand dunes-Ouarzazate (300 km)

                    After breakfast, off road back To Rissani and then to the draa valley via Alnif and Tazzarine , we will cross huge desert areas and lunar landscapes before reaching one of the largest palmeraies in north Africa, the Draa valley.

                    The Anti-Atlas mountains are a beautiful way to leave all these arid regions before getting to your hotel in Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at your Kasbah-hotel.

                    Day 5 : Ouarzazate – Marrakesh (190 km)

                    After breakfast, visit of Ouarzazate and its Kasbahs, cinema studios and then, road back to Marrakesh via the main road through Tichka pass and Taddart. Dinner and overnight in a traditional Moroccan stylish riad.
